While the renowned Clear Tip design and Ugly Tech construction remain unchanged, the one-piece stainless steel Ugly Tuff guides have been improved upon in the latest series. The Ugly Tuff guides now feature an upgraded, proprietary PVD coating that increases wear resistance and prevents corrosion. The new GX2 also features a rubberized diamond EVA handle for better grip and improved durability, and a new reel seat designed for better hand feel and increased sensitivity. All of this is now packed under a 10-year warranty.
