Outdoor America: New Episodes of Their Life, My Lens to Premier Exclusively on Outdoor America

Southlake, TX – Outdoor America, the network for people passionate about outdoor sports and recreation, is proud to announce it is the new exclusive home to Their Life, My Lens, hosted by Chasten Whitfield.

In the program, Whitfield not only fishes her local waters but also shares stories of some incredibly brave and inspiring people while teaching new fishing techniques and how to do the right thing.

The 25-year-old Whitfield works to help disadvantaged kids forget their troubles by sharing the joys of fishing with children, teens, and adults from around Florida. Whitfield uses fishing to help give differently abled kids a day to put all their worries away, whether doctor's appointments, surgeries, medicines, or physical therapy, along with helping them do what's right in life. Whitfield was bullied in seventh grade for being the only girl who fished. But with encouragement from her mother, she entered and took first place in a fishing tournament and has been hooked on angling ever since.

After studying TV and Film Production at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she had the opportunity to show the abilities, not the disabilities, through the sport of fishing and launched Their Life, My Lens on television in 2022. With three successful seasons completed, the program now moves to Outdoor America for season 4, with high expectations for more success.
