New Bobby Garland Head Turn'R Dual Spinner

The new Bobby Garland Head Turn’R adds flash to every crappie fishing presentation with two small willow-leaf blades that run parallel to the hook, on opposite sides, each on a smooth swivel for uninhibited 360-degree movement.

Twin willow-leaf blades send out plentiful flash to suggest baitfish and add appeal and visibility without creating overpowering vibration, and the parallel configuration provides a vastly different look than anything crappie and other gamefish are accustomed to seeing.

Innovative design and precise engineering helped earn the Bobby Garland Head Turn’R top honors at the recent Pittman Creek Dealer Show in the Best Terminal Tackle category of the Product Showcase Awards, with voting done by independent tackle dealers in attendance from across the country.

The design of the Head Turn’R engages the action of both blades whether the bait is moving forward, rising or dropping and whether it is moving along at a rapid pace or slowly and slightly. The design also prevents the blades from hanging on one another or on whatever bait is rigged on the jighead when the offering lands or is falling through the water column.

The blade action that occurs when the Head Turn’R is moving in any direction and even at slow speeds allows anglers to utilize this jighead for a variety of horizontal and vertical presentations. That means the Head Turn’R is not only well suited for casting and trolling, which are the most widespread applications for traditional bladed crappie jigs, but for slower swinging, dipping and vertical jigging presentations, which are critical for targeting crappie with live sonar.

The Head Turn’R is equipped with an innovative double keeper to hold soft-plastic baits firmly in place. It can be matched with a small swimbait for an active swimming action, a sleek spear-tail bait for subtlety or a host of other crappie baits. And while the Head Turn’R was created primarily for matching with soft-plastic crappie baits, the same flashing blades enhance live minnow presentations.

It’s also worth noting that while Bobby Garland develops every bait and piece of terminal tackle it sells specifically for crappie fishing, the Head Turn’R is certain to have significant appeal to anglers who mostly target other species, including trout and white bass, and even to bass and walleye anglers for finesse fishing techniques.

The Bobby Garland Head Turn’R is available in a 1/8-ounce size with a No. 1 hook and 1/16-ounce size with a No. 2 hook, and in three colors: Mo’ Glo Pink, Mo’ Glo Ghost, Mo’ Glo Chartreuse. The finish is durable glow-in-the-dark paint.

The MSRP is $6.99, per package of two.
