The Murray Road Agency is looking for a communicator with experience in public relations, communication and/or marketing. Day-to-day interaction with clients and media will be a pillar of this position. Knowledge of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, shooting and boating is a plus.

This new hire should be able to write with intent in regards to messaging, branding and audience and have a demonstrated ability to do so in a variety of subject areas/markets. This position will be located in Charleston, South Carolina (In-Office) or Minneapolis, Minnesota (In-Office).

Responsibilities:

· Writing, editing and managing content

· Reporting, monitoring and metrics

· Client interaction and communication

· Event coordination and execution

· Distribution and coordination of multiple campaigns

· Communicate with media regularly

· Manage media inquiries

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business, sales or related field

· 0-3 years professional experience

· A high level of attention to detail

· Skilled writer and editor

· Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Comfortable on and off camera and in front of clients

· Ability to track metrics, follow up and execute
