New Jersey Kayak Fishing Clinic

Join NJ Fish and Wildlife staff and volunteers to learn about kayak fishing in Barnegat Bay! This program is for experienced anglers who have their own saltwater fishing rod and reel and are interested in learning about kayak fishing. This is open to anyone 18 years and older and will take place at the Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center located off Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park. The overnight workshop will cover kayak safety, types of kayaks, paddling skills, casting techniques and more!

Facility: The Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center is a rustic, renovated duck hunting lodge situated on an island, a mile from Island Beach State Park, in Barnegat Bay. It is now used as a residential environmental education facility.
