Foothill Ranch, CA – Continuing its efforts to showcase new rods, reels and fishing accessories to anglers from coast-to-coast, DAIWA kicks it up with a major presence and new product introductions at this weekend’s Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show. Taking place at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif., DAIWA will be introducing its new Proteus EX boat rods, big water 25SALTIGA saltwater spinning reels, and 25SALTIGA 300jigging reel, along with sharing saltwater and freshwater fishing advice from a long-list of area experts on the DAIWA seminar stage.

“The new year started with DAIWA showcasing new tackle at fishing shows in Miami, Chicago, Madison, Wisc., along with tackle shop open house events in the South and Midwest, but being able to support the Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show in our own SoCal backyard is extra special for the DAIWA staff,” said DAIWA’s Marketing Director, Marc Mills.

A major highlight of the PCS show is the benefit event on Friday, March 7 to support the War Heroes on Water annual healing and therapeutic fishing tournament serving wounded combat veterans. “Offering DAIWA support to this event is an honor,” Mills said, “and we are so pleased to contribute to such a great cause that impacts those who have served.”
